COCHRAN, Ga. – The Knights were back on the court on Wednesday as they played host to the Lions of Paine College. The Knights played the Lions one week ago, winning by 25 points, and were looking for another win to add to the season.
 
The Knights scored the first basket of the game as both teams were able to hit their shots. The Knights fell behind but came back to tie the game and the Lions went on a cold streak as the Knights scored the final 10 points of the quarter and held a 26-15 lead. The second quarter was less eventful on the scoreboard as the Knights maintained their lead but neither team was able to mount a run. The Knights went into the halftime break with a 39-24 lead. The third quarter had more scoring from both teams as each team put together runs but the deficit remained in the double digits as the Knights held a 66-48 lead heading into the final quarter of play. The Knights pulled away in the fourth quarter as the lead grew to as much as 30 points before the game ended at 87-62. Kristen Foglia led the Knights with 22 points off the bench as Cali Levine added 15 points and Mauryah Jones added 10 points.
 
The win moves the Knights to 5-0 as they head into the start of Peach Belt Conference play on Wednesday, December 3^rd against the Hurricanes of Georgia Southwestern. Tip off is scheduled for 5:30 PM EST.
