Middle Georgia State University SAAC Mission Statement
To represent and serve the interests of Middle Georgia State University student-athletes by fostering open communication between student-athletes and administration, providing leadership development opportunities within athletics and throughout the university community. These efforts are intended to improve the overall student-athlete experience on and off the field, court or course of competition. Furthermore, the SAAC will be a voice for the athletics department, promote school spirit and engage the campus community, while promoting a positive student-athlete image.

Membership
SAAC shall consist of at least two full-time active voting members from each athletic team. More than two members of the same team may be members of SAAC on an at-large basis and serve on subcommittees. From this body of representatives, an Executive Committee shall be elected.
Executive Committee
This group, in conjunction with professional staff liaisons and Co-Advisors, shall consist of a President, Vice President, and Secretary with an option for an additional Ex-Officio member, when necessary. No team shall hold more than one seat on the Executive Committee. Additional executive committee positions may be considered following a motion brought forward by the overall membership.
