Knights Lose Game One to Pacers

COCHRAN, Ga - The Knights hosted the Pacers on Friday, February 20th as they opened their first Peach Belt Conference home series. The Knights were looking to bounce back after losing to Brewton-Parker on Tuesday while the Pacers had won their previous two games.

Game Recap

The Pacers got on the board first with two runs in the second inning. The Knights put two runners on base in the second and third innings but were unable to drive in any runs. The Pacers added on to their lead with one run in the fifth inning and one run in the seventh inning to put the Knights behind 4-0. The Knights got runners on first and third in the bottom half of the inning but none scored and the Pacers put up five more runs in the eighth inning to go up 9-0. The Pacers added three more runs in the ninth inning and the Knights lost 12-0.


What's Next

The Knights will be back in action on Saturday, February 28th for game two of the conference series against the Pacers. First pitch is scheduled for 11 AM EST.
