DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The Knights hit the road on Friday, March 20th as they headed to Daytona Beach, Florida to take on the 13th-ranked Lakers of Grand Valley State University. The Knights had a two-game winning streak after defeating Augusta University while the Lakers had won their previous game earlier in the day.

The Lakers showed early why they were highly ranked as they scored four runs in the first inning, four runs in the second inning, three runs in the third inning, and one run in the fourth inning before the Knights were able to get their first hit in the fourth inning. The Lakers added on another run in the seventh inning with the Knights getting singles in both the sixth and seventh innings but being unable to drive in any runs as they lost 13-0.

The Knights return to the field on Saturday, March 21st as they play two games, the first against the Eagles of Embry-Riddle and the second against the Lakers of Grand Valley State. First pitch is scheduled for 11 AM EST.
