MACON, Ga. - The Knights were back in action on Friday, March 6th as they were set to take on the 39th-ranked Warhawks of Auburn-Montgomery at home for the first time this season. The Knights were coming off of a loss to Lee University while the Warhawks had lost their previous two, both against ranked opponents.

The Knights were able to pick up a 6-3 win in the #2 doubles match from
Yana Prihach and
Aya El Marrasse Zarioui to put themselves in a position to take the doubles point. The Knights picked up a 6-1 win in the #3 doubles match to secure the point and head into singles play with a 1-0 lead. The Knights carried the momentum into singles play as they got a 6-0, 6-4 win in the #6 singles match from BertaÂ
Castelló Petrus to take a 2-0 lead in the overall match.
Tamanna Takoria was able to pick up the 6-3, 6-2 win in the #5 singles match to put the Knights one point away from clinching the overall match. After losing the #4 singles match,
Agustina Olivero started the #3 singles match losing the first set 3-6 but came back to win the second and third sets 6-4 and give the Knights the match win.

The Knights will be back at action on Saturday, March 14th when they head to Winter Park, Florida to take on the 17th-ranked Tars of Rollins College. That match is scheduled to start at 2:00 PM EST.
