YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. - The Knights hit the road again on Saturday, February 28th as they went to Young Harris, Georgia to take on the Mountain Lions. The Knights had won their previous two matches while the Mountain Lions won thier previous match.

Match Recap

The Knights got a quick 6-1 win in the #3 doubles match but the Mountain Lions won the #1 doubles match to force the point to the final match. The Knights got a 6-4 win from Irina Furtuna and Lucile Gence to take the point and head into singles play up 1-0. Gence made quick work of the #3 singles match to put the Knights up 2-0 but the Mountain Lions got a win in the #5 singles match to close the gap. The Knights won the #4 and #1 singles matches to secure the match and finished off the remaining matches to get a 6-1 win

Notable Performances

Irina Furtuna, Lucile Gence, and Agustina Olivero all went 2-0 in the match.

The Knights stay on the road as the play the Flames of Lee University on Sunday, March 1st. That match is scheduled to start at 1 PM EST.
