CLEVELAND, Tenn. - The Knights stayed on the road on Sunday, March 1st as they headed to Cleveland, Tennessee to take on the 25th-ranked Flames of Lee University. The Knights had won their previous three matches while the Flames were undefeated on the season

Match Recap

The Knights got a win in the #1 doubles match with a 6-2 win by Ainhoa Meili Fernandez del Moral and Agustina Olivero. The Flames won the #2 doubles match 6-3 to force the doubles point into the #3 match. The match came down to the final points but the Flames got the 7-5 win and the Knights were down 1-0 in the match. The Knights were unable to secure any points from the singles matches as they lost each match in straight sets to lose the match 4-0.

What's Next

The Knights will host their first official match as an NCAA Division II team on Friday, March 6th when they host the 22nd-ranked Warhawks of Auburn-Montgomery. That match is scheduled to start at 1 PM EST.
